Ways with Scrim workshop with Sue Hollingsworth

Ribble Creative Stitchers member Sue Hollingsworth led the group’s first workshop of 2026 showing members lots of interesting ways that the ‘humble’ fabric scrim can be used.
Sue showed members samples of some of her fabulous work featuring shells and guided us dyeing the scrim, creating backgrounds, transferring images using free motion stitching and then finishing off using hand stitch.
The workshop was the perfect start to the year and as always we love the workshops that Sue leads for us. Thank you to her.
